Not all kids need glasses
A study by Sean Donahue, M.D. sheds some light on wearing glasses in children.  Many times parents wonder why their child is given glasses especially when the child says they see fine without them.  The study encompasses the review of more than 100,000 Tennesee children screened through a statewide program.  The study finds that approximately 20% of children with normal eyes are prescribed glasses that they don't need.  Please read the following article in USA Today .
